Privacy notice

Last updated 12 September 2026. This notice covers s9e.co.uk and email sent to s9e ltd.

Who we are

s9e ltd is the data controller for the personal data described here. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 17454738, with its registered office at 1 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG. Contact: hello@s9e.co.uk.

What we collect

Correspondence. If you email us, we receive and keep your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write. Email is handled by Fastmail, which processes it on our behalf. See Fastmail's privacy policy.

Technical data. This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

This site sets no cookies and has no analytics, tracking pixels, embedded third-party content, advertising, accounts or forms. We collect no other personal data, and we do not sell or share personal data for marketing.

Why we process it, and on what basis

Both rest on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: replying to people who write to us, and keeping the site available and secure. We consider that proportionate: very little data is involved, and it is used for nothing else. You can object at any time; see Your rights.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as the matter it concerns is live, and normally delete it within 24 months after that. We keep it longer only where a legal or regulatory obligation requires.

We do not retain or export Cloudflare's request logs. How long Cloudflare keeps technical data is set by its own privacy policy.

Who else sees it

Our email and hosting providers process this data on our behalf, under contract. We disclose personal data to no one else, except where the law requires it.

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, the transfer relies on a safeguard recognised under UK law: an adequacy decision, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@s9e.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
